Beethoven Project
In 2023, Dr. Ahreum Kim and I embarked on a project to perform the complete collection of Beethoven's Violin Sonatas. Ludwig van Beethoven (1770-1827), a highly innovative and renowned composer in the history of classical music, composed ten violin sonatas between 1797 and 1812. Each of these sonatas showcases his unique and expressive musical style, blending piano and violin seamlessly to create pieces that are both harmonious and emotionally resonant. These sonatas offer an immersive musical experience for both performers and listener, reflecting Beethoven's artistic evolution in a captivating microcosm.
